The Warrior's Choice Story
Military service has been a long and proud family tradition, dating back to the Civil War and continuing to the present. One grandfather served in WWI and my other grandfather served in the Spanish-American War. My father served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII. I served in the U.S. Army for 24 years, deployed for Desert Shield/Storm, and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel. My son, Kristopher, now a CW2, currently serves as a UH-60 Black hawk pilot in the U.S. Army.
Warrior’s Choice was started to recognize all the sacrifices made by those who have served or who are now serving our country and their supporting family members. The military-themed gourmet product line of barbecue sauces, pizzas, casseroles, toffee bars, party bars, and chocolate/oatmeal cookies, have evolved from treasured family recipes dating back over sixty years.
A portion of all sales is donated to charities that support disabled Veterans. Read here about how one organization provided assistance to our family.

Warrior’s Choice Founder
It all started with a Barbeque Sauce. After I completed college, I briefly lived in Charlotte, NC awaiting an assignment into the active Army. During this period, I was assigned to a Reserve transportation company that hauled tanks. I learned to drive an Oshkosh Army tank transporter, a massive 28-wheeler with tractor trailer attached. With this powerful beast, I hauled tanks around the Southeast.
During my travels around the world and throughout the U.S., I learned many secrets on barbecue sauces and recipes which I have kept with me for nearly 40 years. I was about the youngest in the unit and a Second Lieutenant which, as you can imagine, was memorable experience. The older NCOs treated me fairly well and taught me a lot during my time there.
